Happy Columbus Day from all of us here at Riverhead Beverage.
Today we honor the hop that [coincidentally] has been brewed in four of our favorite beers!
THE COLUMBUS HOP
The Columbus Hop is a relatively new variety that is becoming increasingly popular. Also known as Tomahawk, it is a bittering hop, bred and selected from the Hopunion breeding program in the early 90's. It has been considered similar to ZEUS and is plentiful in LUPULIN, making it an exceptional bittering hop with very good flavor.
